Red Empire’s Creative Director, Adam Piggot, has over 25 years’ experience of high profile design. He has worked extensively in the cultural, creative and education sectors, with a particular focus on branding and visual identity.

Adam played an important role in the development of the institutional brand at Glasgow Caledonian University during its evolutions from Glasgow College and Glasgow Polytechnic. Since then, he has helped develop brand positions and created visual identities for many prominent organisations, including Glasgow City Heritage Trust, Impact Arts and the solicitors Mitchells Roberton, one of the oldest firms in Scotland.

Adam has also created artwork for over 60 records, and his portfolio includes cover designs for two UK Top 40 albums (Mogwai’s ‘Come on Die Young’, and ‘Philophobia’ by Arab Strap) and for The Delgados ‘Pull the Wires from the Wall’, a John Peel’s Festive 50 No.1 single.
